It's such a shame that some people get put down (like you were) at a young age, because that's when we're the most vulnerable. I was an abused child, told I was ugly and would amount to nothing. I was told I was so ugly, I'd never have a good relationship - I'd probably be a prostitute. I was beaten and run down in every way. At 16 I started modelling. I now work on TV and write. I have a happy marriage and 3 kids - never did any prostituting work :-) Anyone can rise above anything.
